edging flannels, muslins, denim and other wide varieties of fabrics - you can see on the pics attached how it is going effortlessly even through the leather and heavy vinyl .The machine provides very powerful and yet super quite and smooth performance .
Without going through some technical details - which you could get from various coming with this machine printed literature - Adjusters manual, Operating manual, parts info , etc.. I would like to ask Just a single rhetoric question : when did you have an opportunity to see 93 years old industrial antique sewing machine in such wonderful almost pristine cosmetic condition with all original decals being intact and on the top of it being completely professionally cleaned, polished, serviced, adjusted to perform up to original specifications ?
Look at these even the smallest small screws, loopers, tensions plates, eccentrics, links, various knife and pressure foot's mechanisms - they are all shines like a brand new ones and indeed functioning extremely well too. I wish I could provide more than 12 pics allowable by E-bay so you could be able to see all mechanical and electrical parts in great details. Even the original wood stand on the table top with the flip cover (it makes machine and the cast iron base to be submerged for convenience of operations ) has been completely re-surfaced. I have applied a very liberal amount of linseed oil on their surface to make sure that wood to be hydrated. Then all wood surfaces were sealed with 2 coats of lacquer to prevent further absorption of moisture, oxidation and degradation. I wanted to preserve this machine for generations to come in it's beauty. yes, it is most definitively industrial , but never-the-less is beautiful .
Please note: what is coming with this machine is not an ordinary cast iron Singer stand for domestic sewing machines - it is relatively rare large cast iron stand for Industrial sewing machines with knee activated foot lifting mechanism . And has the Original finish too .
