Kassnar is an import company that used to import guns from various gun makers, many of which were in Italy. They were located in Harrisburgh, Pa. If you google the name you can find a bunch of info on the import company. They went out of business in the 80's. Your shotgun was probably made by a small Italian gun maker. If it says Kassnar on it anywhere, it was imported and probably wasn't picked up during the war. It is possible Kassnar later imported shotguns from that maker that are similar to yours and that is how you have it identified as such. I have a 20 ga. Antonio Zoli O/U that was imported by Kassnar and its a great little shotgun. Nothing fancy, 26" bbls, fixed Imp/Mod with double triggers and extractors. I've killed a bunch of stuff with it. I think I bought it used at some gun shop for about $180. I've had a couple guys offer me up to $500 for it but I won't sell it. Try posting some pictures of the markings and maybe we can figure out who made it.
